One of the highest anticipated trilogies in featherweight history has reportedly been scheduled for UFC 276.
Champion Alexander Volkanovski will defend his belt for the second time against Max Holloway after dethroning “The Blessed” at UFC 245.
UFC 245 was the first event when the two shared the octagon. After a five-round war, Volkanovski earned a unanimous decision victory and won the UFC gold.
At UFC 251, these athletes fought for the second time, and Holloway did a better job this time.

After their rematch, Volkanovski defended his belt twice.
First, he defeated Brian Ortega by earning a dominant unanimous decision victory. In that bout, Volkanovski almost lost the title when Ortega locked him in a triangle and guillotine, but Volkanovski survived.
In his second title defense, he defeated the Korean Zombie via TKO in the fourth round. For all the rounds, Volkanovski was dominating and landing massive punches.
Referee Herb Dean stopped the fight at 0:45 of the fourth round.
Meanwhile, Holloway, demolished Calvin Kattar after suffering defeat in his rematch with Volkanovski. Holloway landed 447 strikers, which was the record in landing strikes.
After that, Holloway took on Yair Rodriguez, and after another bloody five-round bout, he earned another victory with some bonuses.
