Alistair Overeem Vs. Badr Hari III Booked For October
Alistair Overeem and Badr Hari are going at it again.
K-1 officials announced on Tuesday that the two will be meeting for a third time at Glory Collision 4. They will headline the event at GelreDome in Arnhem, the Netherlands, on October 8.
Overeem and Hari have met twice before under the K-1 banner, with each of them winning one fight a piece and by knockout.
Overeem signed with Glory in 2021 after parting ways with the UFC. He left the latter after a second-round TKO loss to Alexander Volkov at UFC Fight Night 184 in February 2021.
Overeem was set to make his Glory debut against Rico Verhoeven at Glory Collision 3, but was forced to withdraw due to injury. He is also a former Strikeforce and DREAM heavyweight champion and K-1 World Grand Prix champion.
Hari is a former K-1 champion and has a 106-career record in kickboxing. His last bout ended in a no contest after a riot ensued at Glory 80.
