Alvarez Open To Trilogy Fight With GGG

Basking in the afterglow of his win over Gennady Golovkin, new WBC, IBO, and WBA middleweight champion, Canelo Alvarez is open to fighting GGG one more time.

With the fight being incredibly close, many thought we would see another draw with the first score card judging it 114-114, then having the final two judges giving Canelo the edge 115-113.

When asked if he’d be open to a trilogy fight, possibly for his next scheduled fight in December, the new middleweight champion said that, “if the people want a third fight, we will do it again. But for now, I want to enjoy the moment with my family and my people.

“But if they want us to do it again, no doubt. He’s a great fighter but I’m a great fighter and I showed it tonight.”
