Bomac Desperate To Take On Canelo’s Trainer Eddy Reynoso

Terence Crawford’s trainer, Brian McIntyre (Bomac) is desperate to test himself against Canelo Alvarez’s trainer, Eddy Reynoso.

Bomac has been a man in demand ever since he guided Crawford into becoming undisputed in a second weight class, as Bud outclassed Spence to stop him in the ninth round. And the manner in which Bomac outwitted Derrick James was impressive, given that Crawford had been accused of not having fought anyone of note prior to Spence.

Thereafter, Chris Eubank Jr. hired Bomac as his trainer, who was equally as successful. Despite concerns that there was not enough time to implement a game plan for the Liam Smith fight, Eubank defeated the Liverpudlian in a tenth-round stoppage. That win further reinforced Bomac’s credentials, as the American was keen on testing himself against the best.

“Mentally we’re ready. All we gotta do is our homework. Let’s go! That’s a challenge to me too as a trainer. I want to try and outthink Eddy Reynoso over there. I never faced him,” Bomac

The task will certainly require a lot of effort, as Crawford would be jumping up three weight classes to fight for all of Canelo’s belts at 168. But before that can happen, Bomac must overcome his current troubles. The trainer was apprehended by UK authorities after having had a firearm in his suitcase, as he prepared to travel back to the US from the UK. Provided that hurdle can be overcome, Bomac may arguably have the biggest test of his career.
