Dana White Unveils TUF 32 Coaches: Alexa Grasso And Valentina Shevchenko

Dana White has said Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko will square off as competing coaches on the TUF 32 series which will air on June 4 via ESPN+.

The flyweights have fought twice in the UFC, with Grasso leading their head-to-head record. In their first encounter at UFC 285 last year, Grasso won via a submission to grab the UFC Flyweight Title in a massive upset. The rematch produced a hugely controversial moment. In their UFC Noche bout, the contest ended in a split draw. Judge Mike Bell scored the final round 10-8 in favor of Grasso, preventing Shevchenko from a victory. Dana White was vocal about the scorecard.

“When I found out that one of the judges scored 10-8, I’m like, this guy should be f****** investigated for this. This is the craziest s*** I’ve ever seen in my life….In title [fights] — there’s so much at stake in a title fight…For that to be a 10-8 round, there is no excuse for that. There is no excuse for that 10-8,” White said

Now, the fighters can re-run their rivalry on the show. The previous season saw Conor McGregor face Michael Chandler. Chandler’s team secured more wins over team McGregor. However, the Irishman won the coach’s challenge. Grasso and Shevchenko will be hoping to come out victorious.
