Dante Leon Vs. Kenta Iwamoto Set For ONE Fight Night 42 On Prime Video

This April, ONE Championship will return to Prime Video with ONE Fight Night 42, featuring an exciting lineup of fights, including a submission grappling match between Dante Leon and Kenta Iwamoto.

The event will take place inside the world-famous Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, and is planned be headlined by the 170-pound kickboxing world championship match between Regian Eersel and Rungrawee Sitsongpeenong.

Leon currently holds a record of 2-1 inside the promotion, achieving wins over Bruno Pucci and Tommy Langaker. But he ran into trouble in his last meeting against Tye Ruotolo in May 2025, losing by unanimous decision and missing his opportunity to grasp the 185-pound submission grappling title.

Leon will look to bounce back in the ranks of ONE Championship following the match with Ruotolo when he meets promotional debutant Kenta Iwamoto. The Japanese grappling sensation may be new to ONE, but is no stranger to high-level Jiu-Jitsu competition, made evident by his three ADCC Asia & Oceania Trials championship titles earned in 2019, 2022, and 2023.

The pair is scheduled to meet on April 10th in what is expected to be another excellent showing of submission grappling prowess produced by ONE Championship. The action of ONE Fight Night 42 will go live at 9.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT and will be available with every Amazon Prime Video subscription.
