Davis vs. Martin Announced; Benavidez vs. Gvozdyk On Co-Main Event

Gervonta Davis vs. Frank Martin has been confirmed for June 15.

The fight will occur at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas. Davis will headline PBC’s third PPV on Amazon Prime Video in a defense of his WBA Lightweight Title. Tank will box for the first time since stopping Ryan Garcia last year. After the win, Davis was under house arrest over a hit-and-run.

Davis broke his conditions, serving 44 days in jail. Martin is undefeated with an 18-0 record. He secured a unanimous decision victory over Artem Harutyunyan in his last bout. Artem took a knee in the last round, giving Martin the decision. A win gives Martin his first world title.

In chief support, David Benavidez boxes Oleksandr Gvozdyk. The bout is for the WBC Interim Light Heavyweight Title. The Mexican Monster failed to secure the Undisputed Super Middleweight fight with Canelo Alvarez. Canelo will fight Jaime Munguia on May 4 instead. Victory makes Benavidez mandatory for the Undisputed Light Heavyweight Title, which will be contested between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol on June 1.
