Fans Criticize DAZN’s PPV Price For Bivol vs. Zinad

Fans are unhappy with DAZN’s PPV price for the Dmitry Bivol vs. Malik Zinad fight.

The card has been priced at $69.99 in the U.S. It was initially meant to be an Undisputed Light Heavyweight Fight between Bivol and Artur Beterbiev. That was between two undefeated fighters with impressive resumes. Bivol has a win over Canelo Alvarez, while Beterbiev has a 100 percent KO rate with 20 wins.

However, Beterbiev withdrew with a knee injury as Zinad stepped in. Zinad is undefeated. He has a 22-0 record with 16 KOs. However, he is not a big-name fighter, nor has he fought any top names. DAZN has attempted to justify the price with their 5 vs. 5 tournament.

The card features five of the best fighters from Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren’s stable facing each other. But that has not been enough for boxing fans, who have criticized the pricing, especially since they had to pay the same for Fury vs. Usyk this month. Boxing fans were also unhappy went they had to pay $69.99 for Devin Haney vs. Ryan Garcia and $89.99 for Canelo Alvarez vs. Jaime Munguia
