ONE Championship makes their return to Prime Video on June 26th, and it has been announced that Ferrari Fairtex will square off against Japan’s Shinji Suzuki at 145-pounds on the card.
ONE Fight Night 44 will go down live from inside the world-famous Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok. The card is set to be headlined by a highly anticipated Muay Thai matchup between George Jarvis and Thailand’s own Rungrawee.
But the high-level Muay Thai doesn’t stop there, as former Channel 7 Stadium champion Ferrari Fairtex plans to put on a show for the crowd at Lumpinee against Suzuki. The Thai striker will hope to bounce back from his last match, in which he caught a left hook that ended the evening in the third and final round against Kongklai at ONE Friday Fights 122.
Meanwhile, Suzuki is coming off a loss of his own back in December to Dmitrii Kovtun, and will be looking to secure his second win in five fights with ONE Championship.
All the action for ONE Fight Night 44 will be available for the North American viewing audience on Amazon Prime Video Friday, June 26th. The card currently features seven bouts, with the potential for up to two more to be added, and will begin at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.
