This Friday, April 24th, ONE Championship returns to Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok for ONE Friday Fights 151, featuring Panpadej NF Looksuan of Thailand facing Pakistan’s Ubaid Hussain in the main event Muay Thai match at 135-pounds.
ONE Championship’s Friday Fights series has become explosively popular in Thailand, as fans get to see up-and-coming stars compete for their chance at a $100,000 contract to compete with the organization.
Through his only five ONE appearances, Panpadej boasts a spotless record, with two victories by knockout along the way. Likewise, Hussain also has a clean record through his first five performances, including his punishing finish of Petsinchai in his promotional debut in 2024.
While this Friday’s card mostly consists of Muay Thai and Kickboxing matches, a pair of MMA bouts appear earlier on the card that are expected to deliver thanks to the international rising stars that are competing. At 135-pounds, Vietnam’s Thoan Nguyen Thanh (3-0) is set to face Rory Turner (2-0) of Australia, as both look to follow up their debut victories in the series with another successful outing.
Additionally, two more experienced MMA competitors will go head to head at 170-pounds as Finland’s Niko Aikonen (8-2-1) takes on Ruslan Bolkvadze of Georgia (12-4). Here, despite these fighters having a decent amount of fight experience, both with be making their debut with the promotion this Friday in hopes of contributing to the fresh flow of MMA talent into ONE Championship.
