Gable Steveson Secures 24-Second KO

Olympic gold medalist Gable Steveson secured a 24-second knockout victory in the main event of APFC 21 against Kevin Hein, taking his MMA record to 2-0.

Steveson feigned a low takedown attempt before landing a left hook that ended the fight. The performance followed his 15-second stoppage win over Billy Swanson in their “Dirty Boxing” match. These quick victories underline his immense potential as one of the sport’s most promising prospects, as he is currently trained by former UFC Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones who has tipped him to become a future UFC champion. Steveson also name-checked UFC matchmaker Mick Maynard after his Swanson win, with the aim of eventually securing a UFC contract.
