Gervonta Davis And Frank Martin Size Each Other Up in Their Kick-Off Presser

Gervonta Davis squared off against Frank Martin in their kick-off presser.

The two fighters face off on June 15 as Davis defends his WBA Lightweight Title. Davis’ last fight was a seventh-round win over Ryan Garcia. Since then, he has served a jail sentence for breaking his house arrest conditions. Martin is no pushover, as the undefeated southpaw seeks his first world title. His last bout was a victory over Artem Harutyunyan via a unanimous decision. Davis and Martin have sparred. Tank brought up the video and even threw a slap at the fighter.

In the co-main event, David Benavidez fights Oleksandr Gvozdyk. It is a WBC Interim Light Heavyweight Title clash, putting the winner a mandatory for the winner of Arthur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol. They fight for the Undisputed Light Heavyweight Title.

Benavidez fought last year, stopping Demetrius Andrade. He failed to get the Canelo Alvarez fight, as he moved up to 175. Gvozdyk has three consecutive wins since losing to Beterbiev. He beat Isaac Rodrigues in his last fight. While Canelo-Benavidez is the fight the fans want, the Mexican Monster must overcome Gvozdyk.
