Petrosyan Returns At Glory 25

Glory Kickboxing has announced that “The Doctor” Giorgio Petrosyan (78-2-1, 35 KO) will make his way back to the ring for GLORY 25 Milan from the PalaIper in Monza, Italy on Friday, Nov. 6.

The last time Petrosyan was in a Glory ring, he got knocked out by an Andy Ristie uppercut. The startling loss ended the Armenian’s 42-fight winning streak, while Ristie went on to win the Glory lightweight title.

His opponent in Milan will be 22-year-old rising star Josh Jauncey. The tilt promises to be the type of young gun vs. legend fight that can define a career.

Jauncey (23-5, 12 KO) holds a 4-1 record since joining the promotion and has won his last three by way of the knockout.

Additional bouts for GLORY 25 Milan, including GLORY’s one-night, four-man Welterweight Contender Tournament will be announced at a later date. The tournament winner will have earned the next shot at GLORY Welterweight World Champion Nieky Holzken.
