It is no secret that Gokhan Saki is not happy that he was stripped of his GLORY Light Heavyweight belt for not defending it in the mandatory time period. Saki took his frustration to social media where he called out current champion Saulo Cavalari and the man he beat for the strap, Zack Mwekassa.
Saki called the two. “B-Level” and said they were not worthy of ‘his title.’
According to GLORY’s Cor Hemmers, things are “progressing well” with Saki on the way to a new contract. Hemmers says he is “very confident” that a deal can be put together.
It is expected that when Saki and GLORY hammer things out he will get the chance to win back his title from Cavalari.
