Holly Holm’s manager, Lenny Fresquez, has revealed that the former champion in MMA and boxing, has recently signed a six-fight contract with the UFC, indicating that her fighting career is still going strong.
According to the Albuquerque Journal, Holm, who is 41 years old, is set to fight against Yana Santos at UFC Fight Night on March 25th, 2023.
Holm, with a record of 14-6, aims to protect her third-place ranking in UFC’s bantamweight division, while Santos, with a record of 14-6, holds the sixth position in the ranking.

In his comments, Lenny said: “[UFC] knew Holly had lots of options out there. She was very sought after and probably could have earned more money elsewhere. They love Holly. They know she’s one of the faces of the UFC, and they wanted her to stay.”
Holm recently lost a split-decision fight to Ketlen Vieira, which was somewhat controversial. But due to injuries, Holm has only fought once in the Octagon since 2021, but she is still considered a contender for the title.
Although she has lost six times in the UFC, four of those losses occurred in championship bouts. With that being said, Holmes still has plenty to offer.
