Jack Della Maddalena Puts Grappling Coach Craig Jones To Sleep While Training For UFC 315

Jack Della Maddalena has obviously been putting forth a grappling focused training camp, as the upcoming UFC 315 title challenger choked his coach, Jiu-Jitsu champion Craig Jones, unconscious during a recent exchange in training.

On May 10th in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, ‘JDM’ will square off with current welterweight titleholder Belal Muhammad, who will be attempting to defend his belt for the first time since earning it over Leon Edwards back in July 2024 at UFC 304. Maddalena is currently on an undefeated run with the UFC, boasting 7 wins with 5 finishes, but has been out of action since his knockout win over a year ago versus Gilbert Burns at UFC 299.

In the clip from Maddalena’s training session with the world championship grappling competitor, the undefeated UFC contender is seen taking down his coach, and locking in a constricting D’Arce choke that seem to temporarily separated Jones from his senses.
