Jake Gyllenhaal To Star In Road House 2

Jake Gyllenhaal will continue his role as ‘Elwood Dalton’ in Road House 2.

The first movie, starring Conor McGregor, was released on March 21 via Amazon Prime Video. Gyllenhaal’s character, Elwood Dalton, is a bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse. McGregor played the film’s villain, Knox. The movie broke Amazon streaming records with 50 million viewers globally in the first two weeks. It has now reached 80 million worldwide.

McGregor has not reacted to the news, leaving doubts about whether he will feature. He received rave reviews for his performance. Gyllenhaal praised McGregor for his humility on set and his willingness to learn. The Notorious admitted he turned down several movie roles before taking this one.

He was initially open to working in more movies, only to backtrack on those comments. However, McGregor set the record for the highest-paid actor on his debut at $5 million. If the timing and money is right, McGregor could act again.
