Jermell Charlo Unsure If His Brother Will Box Again

Jermell Charlo has doubts about whether his brother, Jermall Charlo, would ever come back to the sport of boxing.

As Jermell gets ready for the biggest fight of his career when he faces Canelo Alvarez on September 30th, 2023, Jermall in contrast, has been a shadow of himself. The WBC middleweight champion has not fought since his 2021 win over Juan Macias Montiel. This has been due to the mental health struggles that the middleweight has been facing.

Every other year, we don’t ever seem to see eye to eye on certain things, but I wish my brother the best. I hope he bounces back. He’s got a family to feed, a lot of children to take care of, bills to pay, and a life to live. So, I don’t want it to be when it’s all said and done, everyone in the family coming to me to ask for some bread,” Jermell
