PFL Hires Ex-Bellator Executive Mike Kogan

The PFL has signed Bellator’s matchmaker and executive, Mike Kogan

The news follows the PFL’s acquisition of Bellator, which became official shortly after Bellator 301. PFL chairman Donn Davis outlined significant plans for the organization in 2024, including a ‘champions vs. champions’ and a ‘Bellator International Champions Series’ event. The venture will allow champions from both organizations to face off, a fan-friendly approach rarely seen in MMA’s larger promotions, thus increasing the quality of the roster.

“PFL is now a global powerhouse in MMA. Our Bellator acquisition turbocharges PFL’s mission to innovate the sport and become the industry co-leader. The combined PFL and Bellator fighter rosters are second to none in MMA. We can’t wait to bring MMA fans what they have been asking for – best vs best with the PFL Champions vs Bellator Champions Mega-Event,” Davis said

Following the merger, Davis stated all Bellator employees would be offered jobs. Kogan joins under the title of ‘Head of Bellator Fight Operations.’ CJ Tuttle, the Bellator Public Relations manager, has also crossed over. Bellator President Scott Coker has yet to confirm his next steps, but Davis has suggested he can stick around.

“I would like for him to come over. We have a huge meal to serve, we don’t have enough people manning the kitchen, absolutely. We are all full out,” Davis said
