Chris Weidman has shared X-rays of his brutal leg break suffered at UFC 261.
This past Saturday night, April 24, Weidman competed on the main card of UFC 261. He went one-on-one with Uriah Hall. The bout was scheduled for three, five-minute rounds but it only lasted 17 seconds. That’s because Hall checked a leg kick from Weidman, causing a horrific injury. Hall was awarded the TKO victory and Weidman was sent to a hospital and underwent surgery on Sunday.
The good news for Weidman is that he may be able to walk unassisted in eight weeks. He cannot resume training for six months to one year.
Here are the X-rays Weidman shared on Twitter.
