The same commentators that voiced Conor McGregor’s last fight on July 10, 2021, will call his return fight on July 11, 2026, which will be a rematch against Max Holloway.
Jon Anik, Daniel Cormier and Joe Rogan were cage-side at UFC 326, the night Conor broke his leg in the opening round in his fight against Dustin Poirier. Now, 5 years and 1 day later, the same three commentators will be at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas to call Conor’s long-awaited and much-anticipated return to the Octagon at UFC 329 against Holloway in their welterweight contest. Anik will serve his usual role doing play-by-play while Rogan and Cormier will be providing color.
When speaking about his first fight in a half decade, Conor said “I look at the rest period that I have had, where I look at other competitors in the space, including my opponent, I feel a lot more fresher than these opponents. I’ve had my time of rest, and I feel I’m coming into my prime now. I’ve only entered my prime for now and forever, so that is my mindset going in here.”
