Tyson Fury has not received an offer to fight Oleksandr Usyk from Saudi Arabia in December.
That is according to Frank Warren. Reports indicated that following the breakdown in talks for a Fury-Usyk fight in Wembley in April, a fight in Saudi would emerge at the back end of the year.
While that may have been the case, Warren confirmed that there had not been an official offer yet. Fury has been out of the ring since his fight with Dereck Chisora in December.
Talks with Usyk, Andy Ruiz Jr, Zhilei Zhang, and even now Anthony Joshua do not appear positive.

In contrast, the demand for a Joshua fight with Deontay Wilder appears to be gathering steam, leaving Fury in the dark.
“We were told we were going to get an offer, a written offer, because it’s got to be a written offer. Apparently, it’s going to be sent in due course, but we’ve not had it, but those conversations were quite a while ago, but we’ve not had it yet.
Maybe they haven’t got a clearance yet to put it on. You can’t expect Tyson to be sitting around waiting because by December, he’ll have been sitting around for a year. We’ve tried desperately to make a fight,” Warren.
There is a chance that Fury may have driven himself out of the market due to his demands.
His 70-30 offer for the Usyk fight hinted as much, while Eddie Hearn has shown that Fury is not on the top of the agenda for Joshua as of now.
