Tyson Turns To Raw Meat For The Jake Paul Fight

Mike Tyson has resorted to eating raw meat to prepare himself for Jake Paul.

Their July 20 clash will be a professional fight after much concern. The 58-year-old, Tyson, has made major changes to his lifestyle to prepare for this fight. He is training three times a day and has banned himself from having sex and weed. Hopefully, these changes will allow him to beat the younger Paul at 28.

The Problem Child is more active, having boxed twice since December, beating Andre August and Ryan Bourland. He is also bulking up to around 240 lbs, stating that his speed and power will still be there once he cuts some weight.

“It’s weird to me that I’m weighing 230. But since this was noodling after my last fight I’m just getting to eat as much as possible and it turns out my body carries this weight super well. And I’m only growing. I think I’ll get up to 240 and probably cut down so I’m like way faster.

“But if I’m training for this camp – and camp hasn’t started – but if I’m training in this camp at 240 and then I cut down to 220 it’s basically like I had a 20lbs weight vest on for the whole entire camp. So my muscles are going to be so much stronger and that speed will come through,” Paul said

While Tyson has not boxed a pro fight since losing to Kevin McBride in 2005, he was in a 2020 exhibition against Roy Jones Jr. Tyson felt moving away from his usual vegan diet to a raw meat-based one would help him.
