Main Undercard 10 p.m. ET (PPV) Live Results:

Co-Main Event: Alexander Volkanovski vs. Max Holloway – Featherweight Championship

With two wins over Max Holloway under his belt, 145-pound champion Alexander Volkanovski entered the T-Mobile arena tonight teeming with confidence. Over the course of this 5-round affair, it became clear that Volkanovski has continued to improve since their last meeting in 2020. Volkanovski fought a beautiful fight and showed a level of speed and precision that was a cut above his opponent on this night. Early in the fight, Volkanovski landed a perfectly placed right hand at the end of an exchange that opened up a deep laceration above the eye of Holloway. While Holloway was able to fight through the pain, Volkanovski massively out struck the fan favorite former champion, and earned the unanimous decision victory (50-45, 50-45, 50-45).

Sean Strickland vs. Alex Pereira – Middleweight

In this 185-pound showdown, the outspoken Sean Strickland was very vocal with his opinion of Alex Pereira abilities. Even considering his opponent’s successful kickboxing background, Strickland maintained confidence in his standup skills and decided to strike with Pereira. This ultimately lead to Strickland’s downfall in this bout, as Pereira was able to land a perfectly timed left hook that dropped Strickland to his knees. From there, it only took one follow-up shot to end the night for Strickland. The official stoppage came at 2:36 of the very first round. Pereira was a multi-time Glory Kickboxing champion, now he has his eyes set on UFC gold, and it appears he is well on his way to a title shot.

Robbie Lawler vs. Bryan Barberena – Welterweight

Almost 20 years after his UFC debut, Robbie Lawler is still getting after it inside the octagon. While he looked extremely comfortable in the cage and put on an excellent display of striking, Lawler was unable to withstand the power of his wildly game opponent, Bryan Barberena. At 4:47 of the second round, Barberena sealed the deal with a TKO victory from a step in elbow followed by a number of hard punches that absolutely rocked the long time UFC veteran.

Pedro Munhoz vs. Sean O’Malley – Bantamweight

This 135-pound match was planned to served as the biggest test yet for the extremely popular Sean O’Malley. Unfortunately for everyone involved, the match was stopped at 3:09 of the second round under the advice of the ringside physician following an inadvertent eye poke inflicted upon Munhoz. Due to the unintentional nature of the eye poke, the bout was deemed a no contest.
