UFC 300 Weigh-In Results: Kayla Harrison Successfully Makes The Cut To Bantamweight

There are many storylines surrounding UFC 300, and one of the most prevalent has been regarding former PFL star Kayla Harrison’s debut weigh-in.

There was a sizable question mark on Harrison’s name coming into fight week, not because of her skills, but because she is used to fighting at 155-pounds, and now she will a drastic move down to 135. But luckily, this challenge was just one more accomplishment to add to the former Olympic Judo competitor’s resume.

Additionally, all 26 fighters on this Saturday’s historical card successfully made weight. Now, the MMA community is buzzing in anticipation of the fight week ceremonies coming to an end, to be followed by a stacked evening of fights, including 3 contests with belts on the line.

A look of relief washed across Harrison’s face after the announcement of the result of her first step to the UFC scale, which utilized the 1-pound non-title fight allowance. Considering her experience in the competitive combat sports space, between achieving two Olympic gold medals and two PFL season championships, it seems the weigh-in is what Harrison was most worried about.

Following the official weigh-in, naturally, the UFC held their Ceremonial Weigh-In show. There, the fighters faced off one final time before they make their walks to the Octagon under the bright lights of the T-Mobile Arena.
