Alex Krassyuk, who happens to be Oleksandr Usyk’s promoter, has confirmed that they have won the purse bid for an upcoming fight with Daniel Dubois.
Reports indicate that Krassyuk had put in an offer off $8million in comparison to Frank Warren’s $5.6m bid.
And as part of that process, the fight will now go ahead on August 12th, 2023, in Wroclaw, Poland.
Usyk will put his WBA, IBF & WBO titles on the line, as Dubois is the current WBA mandatory.

In addition to this, Usyk will secure a 75-25 split resulting in the Ukrainian pocketing $6m. Meanwhile, Dubois is expected to get $2m.
The bout throws up an intriguing dynamic for both fighters. Usyk was forced to face Dubois after talks for an undisputed fight with Tyson Fury broke down, despite the Ukrainian agreeing to a 70-30 split.
Meanwhile, Dubois may have some doubts to address over his fitness after he reportedly suffered a knee injury in his last fight against Kevin Lerena, even if he did stop him.
