While Ronda Rousey feels no one should consider Joe Rogan an MMA expert, many seem to disagree, including two-time and current UFC flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko.
During a sit down with American comedian Bert Kreischer last week, Rousey shared many opinions on the MMA world. One of these opinions was on long time UFC commentator, and friend of Kreischer, Joe Rogan, who Rousey feels cannot be considered an expert because he never engaged in an MMA match himself. While the statement surrounding his lack of MMA experience may be true, Rogan did compete in Taekwondo and Kickboxing, and many do consider him an expert based on the fact he has analyzing the sport since its inception.
Many have jumped to defend Rogan against the statement from Rousey, but maybe the most meaningful was Shevchenko. The champion stated that she does consider Rogan an expert, and additionally praised him in other areas of his life.
I see Joe Rogan as huge expert of Martial Arts, noble man, hunter, sportsman, and good example for youth! https://t.co/12C44V5uGL
