Wilder And Zhang Face Off In Final Presser

Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang had their last presser before they square off on June 1.

The card features the top five fighters from Frank Warren and Eddie Hearn’s roster, who fight in a five vs. five tournament. Wilder is the captain of Hearn’s team, putting plenty of pressure on him to deliver. The Bronze Bomber will have to produce better than his last fight against Joseph Parker, where he was outboxed to lose a unanimous decision.

Zhang is also coming off a loss to Parker. He could not sustain his power throughout the fight, as he lost a decision despite dropping Parker twice. It was a major setback after having stopped Joe Joyce in consecutive fights. The defeat meant Zhang was no longer the WBO mandatory for Oleksandr Usyk. Defeat for either fighter will raise question marks over retirement. Wilder is 38, while Zhang is 41, making this a vital fight.
