Anatoly Malykhin Shuts Down Reiner de Ridder For ONE Lightweight Title

De Ridder suffered his first pro loss of his career.

Anatoly Malykhin handed Reiner de Ridder the first upset of his career. 

And he did it without mercy.  

Malykhin dethroned de Rider for the undisputed ONE Championship light heavyweight title in the headliner of ONE on Prime Video 5 on Friday. De Ridder lost via punches 4:35 into the first round. 

Malykhin had solid takedown defense and replied with a flurry of punches to the head and body on the mat. 

In the co-main event, Kade Ruotolo successfully defended his ONE submission grappling lightweight title by unanimous decision against Matheus Gabriel. 

Ruotolo controlled the bout with submissions like ankle locks, heel hooks and kneebars.
