A few retired legends of combat sports are set to feature in pay-per-view boxing bouts at a Triller Fight Club event on September 11.
Former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva, who is known for being the longest-reigning champion in the UFC, will take on ex-light heavyweight king Tito Ortiz. Both martial artists will participate in a 195-pound boxing bout that will go down at Staples Center in Los Angeles. The eight-round professional bouts are being contested to be in 10-ounce gloves.

Oscar De La Hoya, 48, will make his boxing return against UFC legend Vitor Belfort on the same night. Both fighters have shared a prolonged feud between each other for months, ever since the talks of a boxing showdown between them kick-started.
David Haye, 40, is the recent name added to the Triller event. The former cruiserweight title-holder will face Joe Fournier in an eight-round heavyweight bout. Hayes has been out of action since 2018 when he suffered back-to-back losses to Tony Bellew.
The last fight of the night includes both active boxers: Andy Vences (23-2-1, 12 KO) and Jono Carroll (19-2-1, 5 KO). Both boxers will trade haymakers in a 130-pound matchup.
