Anderson Silva wants one more fight before he can finally call time on his MMA career for good.
The 48-year-old has nothing else to prove in the sport, having been a former UFC middleweight champion.
During the course of that process, he had a 16-fight-win streak, which included being the longest-reigning champion in the history of the sport.
However, his final bout was a disappointment, as he succumbed to a technical-knockout defeat to Uriah Hall in the fourth round.
This was in addition to two previous losses to Jared Cannonier and Israel Adesanya.

With that being said, Silva has opened the door for a return for one particular opponent. Step forward: Hayato Sakurai.
Silva did hand Sakurai his first defeat, and as the latter is 47, the time may be right for both to have one last fight.
In his comments to Fight Hub TV, Silva said: “My last MMA fight in Japan, I’m just waiting. Maybe Hayato Sakurai, because Sakurai fight with me in Shooto, you know. I think this is a good fight for us, we will see.”
