Andre Fili Vs. Joanderson Brito Added To UFC Vegas 53 Lineup

Andre Fili is back in action at UFC Vegas 53.

Experienced Fili (21-8-1, 9-7 1 NC in the UFC) will take on a newcomer Joanderson Brito (12-3-1, 0-1 in the UFC) in a featherweight matchup on April 30 at the APEX.

Fili has had some ups and downs as of late.

He suffered defeat against prospects like Bryce Mitchell and Sodiq Yusuff, but he did stop other prospects including Charles Jourdain and Sheymon Moraes.

He has fought against Max Holloway, Yair Rodriguez, and Calvin Kattar. He also defeated Conor McGregor’s teammate Artem Lobov.

Brito could not earn a victory in his UFC debut, but impressed Dana White at the Dana White Contender Series fight. He was on a 12-fight winning streak coming in the UFC, but a relatively more experienced fighter, Bill Algeo, stopped it. However, he got another opportunity to make a statement.

The headlining of this event will be a bantamweight fight between Marlon Vera and Rob Font.

Font is one of the top contenders, and Vera will try to prove that he is made of champion material. Jose Aldo is the last fighter who managed and stopped both of these fighters.
