Ali Abdelaziz, the owner of Dominance MMA talent agency, appears to be a supporter of Andrew Tate, the kickboxer turned social media influencer who is currently being held on suspicion of organized crime and human trafficking in Romania. Abdelaziz recently tweeted at Tate, offering words of encouragement and support.
Tate, along with his brother Tristian and two Romanian women, was detained by local authorities in Bucharest in December 2022. The anti-organized crime agency DIICOT has accused Tate and his alleged accomplices of subjecting six victims to “acts of physical violence and mental coercion.” DIICOT stated that the alleged organized crime group recruited victims by misrepresenting their intentions to enter into a marriage or cohabitation relationship, and later forced them to perform pornographic acts.

Despite these allegations, none of the four suspects have been indicted. Tate gained fame as a self-help guru who provided advice for young men looking to improve their lives and attract women. However, he has also been accused of “extreme misogyny” by domestic abuse charities and is believed to be capable of radicalizing young men and boys.
In April 2022, police raided the Tate brothers’ mansion in Bucharest after receiving a tip-off that a 21-year-old American woman was being held against her will.
The Tate brothers were later released after being questioned by authorities. Tate’s fanbase, which includes several UFC fighters, has continued to grow despite the allegations against him. He was seen with UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards and bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling ahead of UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi and recorded an episode for Sean O’Malley’s podcast during the same trip.
UFC fighter Bobby Green also went on social media to call for the release of the Tates.
Abdelaziz, on the other hand, represents the majority of UFC fighters affiliated with Chechen dictator Ramzan Kadyrov and has a controversial past. He is alleged to have been an informant for both the NYPD and the FBI.
