Andy Ruiz Jr Vs Luis Ortiz: Ortiz Says Someone Is Getting Knocked Out
Luis Ortiz is the kind of athlete that doesn’t require any introduction when it comes to big occasions. Now, the “King Kong” will be locking horns against former unified champion Andy Ruiz Jr. on September 4.
The fight will be classified as the biggest talking point of the FOX Sports Pay-Per-View from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
Both of the fighters have been coming into this fight on the back of tough bouts. Interestingly, both of them got dropped in their last fight before pulling out wins.
Ortiz had to recover from two knockdowns to score a memorable victory over the former World Champion Charles Martin.
“I feel so good both physically and mentally. I’m eagerly awaiting this fight and you’re not going to want to miss it when we get in that ring,” Ortiz said.
“After I fought Charles Martin, I was back in the gym a week later. Whether I have a fight or not, I’m always active and staying ready.
“My intention is to knock out Andy Ruiz. One of us is getting knocked out and I can guarantee this one doesn’t go to the judges. I have studied Andy from top to bottom. If I don’t knock you out with one punch, then I’m just going to chip away at you until you can’t go anymore.”
