Another UFC Fighter Joins BKFC Roster
Another former UFC fighter has joined the ranks of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, as Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva will debut later this year.
In a press release sent out on Thursday, BKFC has signed the former UFc and Strikeforce heavyweight to a multi-fight deal with an opponent yet to be announced.
“We are happy to announce the signing of ‘Bigfoot’ Silva to our roster,” said BKFC President David Feldman. “He has fought and beat some of the best in the world. We have some intriguing matchups that we are talking about with him now. I really expect great fights from Antonio.”
Silva has faced some of the greatest heavyweights in MMA, defeating both Fedor Emelianenko and Alistair Overeem, but faced Cain Velasquez and Daniel Cormier in losing efforts.
As noted by MMA Mania, Silva is in the midst of a five-fight losing streak with four of those losses coming by way of a stoppage.
Over the past six-years Silva has only one win in ten fights, which was a TKO stoppage against Soa Palelei at UFC 190.
