Anthony Joshua Considering Dillian Whyte Fight — Again

Joshua is recovering from back-to-back losses to Oleksandr Usyk.

Former heavyweight champion Anthony was reportedly negotiating to face WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury in December. However, the talks eventually broke down.

Fury would be battling Derek Chisora for the third time on December 3. The bout will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

On the other hand, Joshua is still searching for his next opponent. His promoter, Eddie Hearn, believes Dillian Whyte could fit the bill and take place sometime next year – though he’s fought him in 2015 and won by TKO.

The London native hasn’t had the best of times in the ring after suffering consecutive losses against Oleksandr Usyk.

“You know what it is? It is best that you do speak to me because I can say it from the horse’s mouth,” Joshua told iFL TV.

“It could be, but don’t hold me to the cross the things I say. The game’s forever changing. It’s also whatever Dillian wants to do as well.

“Would I fight Dillian again? Yes, 100%.”

Joshua also hopes that a fight between him and Fury will eventually materialize.

“Fighting for the heavyweight championship of the world (against Fury) was a big opportunity for me. After just coming off of a loss, as well … it was annoying that it didn’t happen,” Joshua said.

“And, yes, it’s annoying, so that’s why I decided after that there’s too much back and forth. When I’m ready to ride again, I’ll ride out properly. I’ll ride until the wheels fall off next time out, in the sense that I’ve got myself a time frame and a duration, I got a hit list and I’ll rock and roll.”
