Anthony Rocco Martin Parts Ways With UFC

Anthony Rocco Martin‘s time with the UFC has come to an end.

Martin made his UFC debut back in February 2014. During his time with the promotion, he had a record of 9-6 in the UFC. Martin hasn’t fought since his June 2020 loss to Neil Magny and it ended up being his last bout under the UFC banner.

A team representative of Martin confirmed to MMAJunkie.com that the welterweight has mutually parted ways with the UFC.

Martin then sent MMAJunkie the following statement.

“I am excited for what the future holds. I’m ranked 22 on Tapology. I feel like I am entering my prime and can’t wait for a new home. I want to find a place that I can compete to be a world champion and push to be the best in the world.”

Martin has a pro MMA record of 17-6. At the age of 31, many would argue that Martin still has plenty of gas left in the tank. He has also been able to avoid being knocked out in his career. Martin has only been finished twice, both via submission.
