Anthony Smith Has Harsh Words For Johnny Walker

Anthony Smith is aware of Johnny Walker’s callout and he’s got a harsh response.

Smith is currently on a two-fight skid. He’s suffered back-to-back losses to Glover Teixeira and Aleksandar Rakic. “Lionheart” is trying to piece things back together as he has found himself out of light-heavyweight title contention.

Walker recently snapped his two-fight skid with a first-round knockout victory over Ryan Spann at UFC Vegas 11. Prior to the win, Walker had dropped bouts against Corey Anderson and Nikita Krylov. Walker is now angling for a fight with Smith.

Walker’s challenge was brought up to Smith when speaking to SiriusXM’s RJ Clifford. “Lionheart” didn’t take too kindly to Walker targeting him (h/t MMAJunkie.com).

“For whatever reason he wants to fight me, that’s like the third or fourth time he calls me out. I’m just like, ‘Shut up, dude. I’ll beat the (explicit) out of you.’ Maybe I’ve lost two in a row, but I lost to two of the baddest (expletive) on the planet, you know what I mean. It’s different, there’s levels to this (expletive). I’ll fight Johnny Walker if that’s what the UFC calls for, but I’m not going to go out there and call out Johny Walker, that’s for sure.”
