Anthony Smith vs. Devin Clark Set For UFC Fight Night On November 28
A light heavyweight tilt between Anthony Smith and Devin Clark has been added to a UFC Fight Night card.
MMAJunkie.com reports that Smith and Clark will collide on November 28 inside the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada. That card is being headlined by a heavyweight tilt between Curtis Blaydes and Derrick Lewis. It’s a big fight for Clark as Smith is the number six-ranked UFC light heavyweight. Clark isn’t currently ranked.
This is a crucial bout for Smith as his back is against the wall. He has suffered two losses in a row. “Lionheart” hasn’t emerged victorious since June 1, 2019. A loss for Smith here would surely send him far down the 205-pound ladder, possibly out of the top 10.
Smith’s last outing ended in a unanimous decision loss to Aleksandar Rakic. In the bout prior, Smith was stopped by Glover Teixeira via TKO in the fifth round.
Meanwhile, Clark has racked up two straight wins. Those victories have come against Alonzo Menifield and Dequan Townsend. During his time under the UFC banner, Clark has gone 6-4.
Here is a look at how the November 28 UFC Fight Night card is shaping up.
