Archuleta Headlines Bellator 238 Suspensions
Cris Cyborg will not have to ride the bench long as the new Bellator featherweight champion has only a seven-day suspension following Bellator 238.
Per a report released by the California State Athletic Commission to MMA Fighting on Tuesday, Cyborg only needs to take a mandatory seven-day suspension, while Julia Budd must sit for a minimum of 45 days and spend 30 days with no contact due to being stopped by Cyborg in the fourth round of their main event.
The biggest name serving a long term suspension is Juan Archuleta, who will sit for 180 days with 180 days of non-contact due to a possible fracture of his right shoulder and left hand.
