Aspinall Hints At His Return
UFC Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall has teased a return to the Octagon.
Posting a training photo with the caption “Back to business,” the heavyweight hinted that the severe eye injuries that have sidelined him since late 2025 are finally behind him. At UFC 321 in October 2025, Aspinall faced former interim champion Ciryl Gane in a bout that ended in a “no-contest.” Near the conclusion of the opening round, Gane landed an accidental double eye poke that meant Aspinall was unable to continue.

Aspinall then had multiple surgeries to repair retinal damage and address lingering vision issues caused by the foul after he picked up significant traumatic bilateral Brown’s syndrome. Rumors are swirling that Aspinall could be a candidate for the UFC White House card on June 14, with a possible Gane rematch.
