Amir Khan is a British professional boxer who won a silver medal in the 2004 Olympics in Athens at the age of 17. Nicknamed, “King” Khan, the now 28 year old athlete has ammassed wins against boxing greats such as: Marcos Maidana, Chris Algieri, Paul Malignaggi, Devon Alexander and Zab Judah – among others. Khan has fought 34 professional bouts, winning 31 (10 by way of knockout) with only 3 losses. Khan contends that he would beat Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a square-off, but that Mayweather has been too scared to fight him.
Khan’s dissapointment has recently been extended after talks with Manny Pacquiao’s camp have also come to an end. Khan alleges that Pacquiao’s camp has also been stalling on coming to an agreement on terms. Khan stated that he has pulled out of the negotiations because of this and he is now setting his sights on a rematch with Danny Garcia.
