Artem Valeryevich Levin (born December 8, 1986), also known as Artem “The Lion” Levin, is a Russian light heavyweight Muay Thai kickboxer fighting out of Prokopyevsk. He is the current World Muay Thai Council (WMC) Intercontinental and EMF European Muay Thai champion.[1] As of 11 May 2015, Levin is ranked the #1 middleweight in the world by LiverKick.com. He is the current Glory Middleweight Champion.
Levin won theGlory 17: Los Angeles – Last Man Standingmiddleweight tournament and the inauguralGlory Middleweight ChampionshipinInglewood, Californiaon June 21, 2014, defeatingAlex Pereirain the quarter-finals andFilip Verlindenin the semis, both by clear-cut unanimous decision, before rematching Joe Schilling in the final. He scored a knockdown with aspinning backfistin round one, but was docked a point by referee Al Wichgers for excessive clinching in three. He did enough to win, however, taking another UD, with all three judges scoring the bout 29-26 in favour of Levin.
