Bernard Hopkins is a American professional boxer from Philidalphia, Pennsylvania. At the pinnacle of his professional boxing career,Hopkins held four titles -with the IBF, WBC, WBA and WBO. He was the longest reigning Middleweight Championship titleholder for 10 years and nearly three months. Hopkins’ professional record includes having fought in 66 professional fights, with 55 wins (32 by way of knockout) and 7 losses. He also holds the record for the oldest fighter to win a World Championship after defeating Tavoris Cloud at the age of 48. Currently, at the age of 50, Hopkins is stirring up new attention in the world of fight sports after expressing interest in fighting Gennady Golovkin. This would likely be Hopkins’ final return to the ring and an anticipated “blaze-of-glory” ending to a long and illustrious boxing career.
