Bio
Joe “Stich ‘em Up” Schilling was born in Dayton, Ohio in the United States on January 13th, in 1984. He competes as a kickboxer in the super middleweight and light heavyweight divisions and also competes as a middleweight in MMA. He earned his nickname for his notoriety for throwing elbows that have cut numerous opponents.
Schilling was a troubled youth who was kicked out of multiple schools and found kickboxing as a way to channel his energy in a more positive manner. Schilling’s first pro kickboxing match came in 2006 and in 2013 he started fighting for GLORY. He won the middleweight tournament at GLORY 10 in 2013 but came up short in the final match the following year at GLORY 17. After going 3-1 in GLORY following the 2014 tournament, Schilling signed with Bellator Kickboxing.
After losing his promotional debut bout at Bellator Kickboxing 2 in June 2016, Schilling has gone on a four-fight win streak in the promotion.
