Jordan Burroughs (born July 8, 1988) is an American world and Olympic champion in freestyle wrestling. Burroughs wrestled for Winslow Township High School, where he was a state champion and a senior national champion, and he was a four-year starter for the University of Nebraska. At Nebraska, Burroughs was a three-time All American, and two-time undefeated national champion. He won a U.S. record 69 straight matches to start his career at the Senior level from 2011-14 and has a 105-2 record entering 2015 Pan American Games. In 2013 he won the World title less a month after breaking his ankle.
