Bio
Jose Aldo was born in Manaus, Brazil on September 9th, in 1986. He is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is one of the greatest mixed martial artists of our time and possibly all-time. Aldo began fighting professionally in 2004 and since turning pro he has compiled a record of 25-1, has won his last 18 fights, and has not lost in a decade. When Anderson Silva was defeated by Chris Weidman in 2013 it opened the door for Aldo to grab the #1 Pound for Pound best fighter rankings and he hasn’t let go if it yet. A showdown with the new sensation Conor McGregor is in Aldo’s future and a win would further cement his legacy as one of the greats.
