Bio
Karim Ghajji pulled off a successful professional kickboxing debut in December 2007 before reaching the finals of the French Kickboxing Championships 2008 A-Class at 74kg. Ghajji won the tournament the next year and finished as the runner-up of the UKC France MAX in 2010.
Ghajji then won 23 of his next 25 bouts, picking up many titles and accolades along the way, including the ISKA K-1 Rules World Title. Ghajji competed in GLORY three times in 2013, including a match with Nieky Holzken at GLORY 6, losing all three bouts. After a seven-fight win streak, Ghajji returned to GLORY in 2015 to compete in the welterweight contender tournament at GLORY 25. Ghajji defeated Yoann Kongolo in the first fight but lost to Murthel Groenhart.
Ghajji then signed with Bellator Kickboxing, become the inaugural welterweight champion at Bellator Kickboxing’s first-ever event. Ghajji lost the title to Zoltan Laszak at Bellator Kickboxing 3, but Ghajji regained the title at Bellator Kickboxing 6. Ghajji then lost the title to Raymond Daniels at Bellator Kickboxing 7.
