Bio
Picking up boxing at 8 years old, Luis Arias had a tremendous amateur record. Arias was the U.S. national champion at middleweight in 2008 and 2010, won a gold medal at PAL Nationals, a silver medal at the National level of Golden Gloves and a bronze medal in the 2008 AIBA Youth Wold Boxing Championships.
In Arias’ first 20 professional bouts, he won 18 with 1 No Contest. Arias won the USBA Middleweight Title in August 2016, and he made two successful defenses of the title the following year.
His sole loss came in November 2017, when he was defeated by Daniel Jacobs.
