Bio
Matt “The Immortal” Brown was born in Jamestown, Ohio USA on January 10th in 1981. Brown overcame a drug addiction to excel in mixed martial arts. As of 2015 he held brown belts in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo. In 2005 Brown made his MMA debut and although he only went 7-6 he was selected to compete on the 7th season of the UFC’s reality show “The Ultimate Fighter.”
After winning his first two fights Brown was submitted and eliminated from the competition but was still signed by the UFC because of his exciting fighting style. Brown didn’t have much luck at the start of his UFC career going 5-5, but in 2012 Brown began a 7 fight win streak to earn a UFC welterweight title eliminator bout against Robbie Lawler but lost a 5 round unanimous decision. As of November of 2015 Brown was 20-13 and one of the most exciting fighters due to his penchant to end all fights via knockout win or lose.
